Sep 13, 2010

I went up to Rowan early to work on things for Typography. After I finished most of it I went to the first G5 gallery meeting. We looked at the book from last year and then started talking about ideas for this year's book. We came up with a few seeds and tried to give out positions.

We critiqued our three ideas in Typography and spent a good deal of time talking about them and then reworking them.

I came home for a while and went back to Landmark with Chuck later. We got a few Coronas and a plate of nachos for Mexican Monday and sat around yelling to each other because the terrible DJ was there again playing music very loudly.

Shannon came out after a while and joined our group. It was amusing to listen to her and Chuck trying to communicate.

Jimmy showed up and got some margaritas as we continued drinking beers and had some Old Bay fries. Nothing too exciting happened while we were there. The DJ played old songs and "Shots" several times. Our waitress was great though. She kept an eye on us the whole time. I guess it helps that we were right by the register too but it was a nice change.

Once we had our fill of beer and fries, and once Chuck did a shot of the remaining American cheese dip, we came home. It was a nice night out and I even got to bed pretty early.
