I got up early to accompany Katie to AC Moore once again in Deptford. Art classes suck for buying supplies all the time. When I got back, I finished my action drawing assignment by riding my bike over a paper to leave tire marks. It looked cool in the end. I was happy with my three "drawings" when I presented them to the class. We started a new still life in class that was to be finished for homework. After school, I went to Maureen's and we got pizza and the last disc of last season of Lost to watch before the new episode. It was good times and the new show was interestingly good. Post-Lost, I returned to Rowan to my classroom to finish up my drawing and roam the halls a little bit. Then I went to my grandmom's and had some pasta and watch a little bit of Fight Club. I was pretty tired once I got home, so I went right to bed.

After sleeping in through my class, I got up and looked into a few things. Katie and I went to AC Moore in Mays Landing to get a few things. I got the elusive Bristol book that I've needed and also a tip from the cashier about 40% off coupons online. When we got back in town, I came home and worked on some of my projects that are due tomorrow, they came out kinda cool. Later on was poker at Jimmy's. There were only five of us, but it was a good game anyway. I finished a little bit down, but not too bad. We played a little Guitar Hero and then I was off to here to update this and go to bed.

Twas an interesting day. It started with class, after I finished my charcoal drawings in the morning, that is. We had to do blind contour drawings of a partner. It was surprisingly fun. I actually enjoyed that class. After class, I was feeling kinda down so I went to Best Buy and bought an iPod. Simple solution it was. I came home and added some songs to it, then got some ice cream at Wawa for me and James before heading to his house. We played some Guitar Hero, then watched It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, followed by some of Wedding Crashers once Katie joined us. Not even halfway through the movie, we decided to play rummy. It was the longest game ever, we didn't finish until close to 3am. I came home and went to sleep right through my morning class....

I did a horrible job of photo-documenting today, but I guess I just wasn't feeling it. I started my day early feeling pretty good. I went to class, got there on time and did some drawing in class that I was mildly happy with. After that, I came home for a bit before heading back out to Home Depot and Michael's with Katie for a minute and ended up getting my art box. Shortly thereafter I met my grandmom and we went to Larry's II for dinner. The food wasn't too great unfortunately. I came home and took a nap because I'm not used to getting up so early. Later, James, Katie and I played rummy, then Jeff took Katie's place and we played another game. James won both. I have drawing to do so I might do some now and some in the morning. Meh.

Today was full of shopping... sort of. Really, once we finally left, Katie and I went to A.C. Moore in Deptford and got most of the art supplies on our lists for classes. It took a while and art supplies are expensive. We got most of them on sale though. We ate at Outback while we were up there and then returned again to A.C. Moore to get some other things while the sale was still going on. We stopped at Michael's briefly, but they had nothing. That was the majority of the day besides watching some Arrested Development and creating a banner for my other blog, Monotonous Redundancy. After buying all the art supplies, I haven't been in the mood to do my art homework, so I'm going to go to bed instead.

Today was somewhat eventful, but didn't go as I originally planned. First, I got up, did some laundry and shaved my beard off (one half at a time, as you can see.) I headed out to my grandfather's house since I hadn't seen them since Christmas and it happened to be my little Aunt Zoe's birthday party. I had some food and a couple Corona's and chatted with the guys before collecting my Christmas card and heading out. I stopped at Ryan's a we played a match of Mario Kart on mirror mode. On the way back home, I stopped at the mall to see what Katie was up to. She wasn't really busy, so I got to see the supply room where they keep all the extra camera stuff. I came home, did more laundry and then went to play 500 Rummy with Jeff and Sam. Jimmy came out of his room to play with us eventually too. We had some good games. I'm back home now, I should try to get to sleep before dawn so I can go to sleep tomorrow night at a decent hour before class.

I slept in a long time today after my drinking last night. The first thing I did was go to lunch at Jim's Lunch with my grandmom. After we finished eating, I headed over to Jimmy's to play some games. We ended up getting pizza and watching Be Cool. Jeff and Sam joined us shortly after that and we watched The Break Up. Jenn and Jamie showed up in the middle of that movie and we stayed around talking for a long time after the movie was over. I'm home and not really tired, so I'll probably stay up for a while watching something.

My day started off with being a little late to my drawing class, unprepared because I couldn't buy what I needed at Michael's. Class was full of charcoal drawing which I've never done and I'm not sure why we're "learning" charcoal drawing before we learn how to do any kind of regular drawing at all either, but I digress. I came home after that and bummed around for a while, bored. I was feeling odd and restless and ended up getting an 18-pack of beer for later. When later came I drank quite a few beers while watching some show about gangs on History. I had a few... too many, then I eventually came home and went to sleep watching The Office.

My niece or nephew...

Did not do so well on the picture taking today. I went to class early this morning over icy roads. I got there late, but so did the instructor, so it was ok. It was a really short class, but only because it was the first meeting. We have way too many supplies to get for these classes. Honestly, the lists for both classes takes up two whole pages! And it's in pretty small type! On top of that, I have no idea how to use any of the stuff that we're getting; brushes, charcoal, cloths... these are all foreign materials to me. It should be interesting. After class, I met with my grandmom for lunch at Applebee's. Once we finished there, Katie was done class and met me for a trip to Michael's to hunt for some supplies. We got a few, but I need a lot more. We played some Guitar Hero at my house until she had to go to work. Later, a poker game assembled at Jimmy's. It was good game, which I ended up leaving with 15 dollars more than I started with. I'm pretty tired, but I have been up since much earlier than my usual, so I'm gonna try to get to sleep now. Also, my sister e-mailed me picture of her fetus... baby, whatever you want to call it. It's up there.

So today was supposed to be my first day at Rutgers, but it turned out to be my first day at Rowan. After not being able to get the classes I wanted (Read: Needed) for this semester up there, I decided to go a different route. I went and talked to someone today and they put me right into classes that will go towards my major without even having applied yet. So I had my first class today and it was interesting. It's Drawing I, and we haven't done anything yet, but I can't wait to show my lack of drawing skills. After class I came home and played Guitar Hero with Katie for a while. Since the poker game fell through, we played for a while longer, then I watched Nip/Tuck and now I must get sleep for my early class tomorrow.

Rock(band)in' out!

Good times today. It began with lunch at the Looking Glass, where I no longer get an employee discount, I guess. After food, Jimmy came and we went to Philly so he could look for some new sheets. We didn't find any but we walked down Broad Street and South Street in bitter cold for a cup of Wawa Oregon Chai tea. We got back to the car about two minutes too late for the meter and there was a ticket on Jimmy's car. We headed back to NJ to the movie theater and timed it perfectly to see Cloverfield. It was a really cool movie, in my opinion. We came back to Jimmy's to watch a show on the History Channel about what will happen when all humans die off and the planet is reclaimed by nature. Then some Rock Band, now I'm home. Good night.
