Jan 16, 2010

After some much needed sleep, we headed to a Thai restaurant in New Brunswick for lunch.

I finally got to meet Joanna's friend Shannon before she headed back to school. The food was delicious and spicy. The Thai iced tea was really good as well. It reminded me of bubble tea sans bubbles. We spent some time talking after the meal and then parted ways to enjoy the nice day.

There wasn't a lot to do outside so we decided to go park hopping. The first park, where George Washington stopped on his horse or something, had a nice pond to walk around. After that one we went to a park with a playground. We managed to climb and balance on a few things even though there were a handful of kids on it at the same time.

The next park we went to overlooks Staten Island. It's not really much of a view in that direction, but it had a nice walking path as well and the sunset looked pretty nice over the water in the other direction. We went to one more park and sat on the play ground for a while until it got dark before going back home.

The rest of the night was spent packing things up, watching shows and eating chick pea balls over rice. After staring at the computer screen for a few hours looking things up, it was time for bed.
