I didn't really feel like doing anything all day so I didn't do anything besides watch Dexter.. Until Ryan and Erika went to the gym and I decided that I needed to get off my lazy ass and do something productive for the day or I would not be feeling better anytime soon. We set up a few circuits that were strenuous and sometimes fun. I'm not sure but I think I saw Erika bypass a few of the obstacles..

I resumed my lethargic position once I got home until Ryan came over and we took a walk to the school to do The Cub. After one go around we devised a different, shorter course to challenge one another. It involved the usual: climbing, jumping, balancing. The picture is a great shadow created when we were walking the wall. It made me laugh the first time because all I saw was Ryan's shadow running across the wall getting bigger. Ryan had me by 3 seconds after three attempts at our new thing. We finished our walk back to my house after that.

After I got a second shower for the evening I headed to Landmark to meet up with Renea. She was there with some friends, including Jake, whom I haven't seen in forever and doesn't look the same at all. We did a little bit of dancing inside but then went out to the outside area.

I was drinking Sam Adams and having a good time catching up. The weather was great for being outside. People slowly started leaving from the group but we stuck around until last call and then went out for a walk around campus to help Renea sober up. Once I realized she wouldn't be in any shape to drive I decided to take her home and leave her car there.

Renea fell asleep as soon as she got in the car so I got to drive home rocking out to some Argyle Gargoyle myself. I dropped her off at her place and then headed home.

Shortly after Joanna left I met up with Ryan to play some tennis. Nothing like losing a few sets to feel like I'm home again! I don't know where I got the energy to stay up since I had basically been awake for thirty hours.

We went for a swim to cool down after playing in direct sunlight but it was starting to get shady when we got there and it was cold. We couldn't find a comfortable temperature. And I need a bathing suit that fits me.

After some darts, I changed and then made my triumphant return to Quizzo! It was good to see people I hadn't seen in over a month; even Erika and Katie came out to play. We somehow won first place, which I was completely not expecting. 'Twas a good game though.

Because I was clearly not exhausted enough, I went with Ryan over to the school to do The Cub. I felt strangely motivated to do well and I did get a better time than my last. I only had the energy to do it once though. We finished a walk around the neighborhood after since it was such a nice night.

It was a good welcome home day but I am ready to sleep. No need to calculate any distance for today because I'm here.

I came up to Westby a little early so I could precariously carry all of my works in to put in the BFA review. I had to show six works to be judged to be accepted into the BFA program.

After my final Art History II class (woo!) I went with Katie to Zizi's Vegan (or Amiani's, as it is called now) for lunch. We got vegan chicken cheesesteaks and brought them back to Rowan to eat for lunch.

I came to my last Photojournalism class a little late, where I gave my final presentation about my sister and Aiden. I don't know if it was as good as my slaughterhouse idea but Jerry seemed to like it. After we finished some other presentations, we got out early again.

I took some time and set up my sculpture final. I added a few last minute things and turned on the DVD. It's supposed to represent me and the most important things about myself. The video screen had rapidly switching images to show my constantly racing mind, the iPod was over my heart, the camera made one of my hands and pens made my other one.

The Sculpture class came up and looked at our final pieces. Joanna used a camera under a cloth that we had to focus on images that represent her on the wall. Both of our pieces went over very well.

We critiqued the box in the Sculpture room also. It was one of my favorite of the year. There were candles all over and each person that entered had to hold a lit candle as well. All of the thumbprints on the wall represented 64 abortions that would occur any given day around the world. The warmth in the box and the serious statistics made it a really interesting presentation.

Ryan and I met up later and did the Cub. It was a nice night so we wanted to take advantage of that before my trip. This is the wall jump portion.

I'm sure everyone wanted some more visuals of the Cub so here are a few. This is the wall climb. The awkward part is when we got to the top and had to squeeze through a small opening at the top of the wall.

The flip over the bar is always fun. I have a hard time regaining my equilibrium when I flip and then start running again. Ryan killed me this time around. I did a little worse than last time and Ryan made a new record with 4:03. I'm gonna have to work hard to beat that one.

We had a straight running race around the school, which was a good ending. I won that one by a second. I had to win at least one before we went home.

I went home and figured out what I need to do tomorrow and then got to sleep watching How I Met Your Mother.

I worked on a new poster design in the morning and then went to play tennis with Ryan. I was not doing well. Can't win 'em all.

I came home and continued packing things up, slowly emptying my rooms of all their content. They fit well into boxes somehow.

After working on posters, and eating delicious curry rice vegetable stuff with crepes for dessert, at Katie's, I met Ryan at Corson Park to do the Gauntlet. It's been a while but basically what we do is turn a playground into an obstacle course and race each other for the best time. Ryan won this round.

We went to Reick Avenue school to do the Cub, which is a much longer obstacle course/run. There is a rock wall, stairs, pushups, sit-ups, a hurdle, a tree slalom and a lot of running. I managed to win this one with a time of 4:18.

As you might imagine, doing those courses several times in a row can be extremely exhausting. And I fell asleep pretty much the moment I got in bed.

I spent my time before going to class finishing my Philosophy homework and then studying in Westby for a little bit before I had to take my Russian test. The test was easier than I expected. I think it was, anyway.. I guess I'll find out next week.

After the test, I met Joanna at the student center to get food. I got a really big cheese hoagie with veggies on it. I could only eat half of it. We hung out for a little while in the office upstairs before I decided I was late enough to my next class. I was about a half hour late but my professor didn't seem to mind much. I contributed to the discussion to try to make up for it and he let us out early anyway.

I made it down to Quizzo in time for round one. It didn't help that I was there early because we came in fourth. Fourth! We didn't even place! There were more teams than usual playing but still.. Katie made it out for the last two or three rounds as well. One day we'll win again.

Ryan came over when I got home and we had a race around my block since it's about a mile. We both improved our times quite a bit. My time was a little under seven minutes and Ryan was under eight. Then we took a walk over to the school near my house where we used to create courses and race. We made up a new one involving push-ups on this rack followed by a shuttle run and hurdling it.

The rest of the race took place around the perimeter of the school, going up and down the stairs, over a wall, up a rock wall, flipping a bar, jumping a fence, running over picnic tables, squats, sit-ups, a tree slalom and finally running back up the stairs and sending the water bottle/finish marker to the bottom. We both ran it twice since Ryan beat my original time and I improved to beat his. At the end, I am ahead of him by about fifteen seconds with 4:14:70. Next time.

After all that running fun, I came home and played some Scrabble until we were too tired to stay up anymore.
