I went over to Landis Park this afternoon to play a round with Scott. We got about halfway through the course before Bill and another of his friends showed up. We played two different layouts of the course, and I know how it feels to be the runt of the litter as I struggled to keep up with the long drives these guys were shooting. I did have some really awesome putts though. And they weren't discouraging in anyway so that was nice. Or not. I'm not sure. Ryan and I always laugh at each other's bad shots because we have both had the same things happen. Either way, I always have fun regardless of my ability. I just like being out with other people.

Later I played tennis with my dad. I wish we had done that a little more when it was nice. It was really warm and humid tonight so I was sweaty into the first game. After we shook off the cobwebs I felt like we played pretty well. The rest of the night was staying inside and being lazy.

Another day I didn't get a job left us a nice day to go play disc golf at the Landis course. It was relatively calm so we could play without issue. We played about half the course before it was time to go pick up Aiden from school.

We took him to the zoo in Cape May where he immediately wanted to feed the goats so he did that and seemed to enjoy it. As did the goats.

It turns out he's not a fan of a lot of animals and he has a short attention span. He wanted to see the giraffes (the real ones) so we went all the way to the back of the zoo to see them and then he was like, "Yep.. okay can we go?" We walked around a bit more and he was transfixed by the otters for a bit before he lost interest in that as well. He doesn't like lions and the monkeys weren't being entertaining.

He did seem to have a lot of fun at the playground outside the zoo. He made some friends, as it seems like he can do very well, and began playing with them and crawling through tubes. There is a small rock wall that I got him to climb as well and he seemed pretty good at it. Eventually we had to tear him away and head home.

I met with Kim in the evening about the wedding to go over a few specifics and ideas. Later I met Ryan at the gym to do some circuits.

Joanna and I went to the Landis course in the morning for a nice, somewhat windy game of DG. It was her first time playing the course and I've come to not mind it as much even though it does have a lot of the same types of shots.

We played some more at the other course, skipping the flooded holes again. I took some more pictures of the flooding for what I thought would be my spot news assignment. After the game I went to test drive a Sentra that I'm interested in at the same place that had the Toyota.

We went for First Day of Spring Free Rita's but I got a Gelati so it was a dollar. Delicious but much too sweet. I'll just have the ice cream next time.

After treats, we went to a park nearby and watched the birds as the sun set.

There were some really cool silhouettes and the sunset was nice. I love warm days. I'm glad Spring is here.

I went to Katie's for a while to help her with some graphic design stuff. That sounds funny since all I helped with was some phrasing. I gave her my words and she gave me her potatoes and delicious spicy sauce. Mmm.

I got up to meet my mom for breakfast at Bob Evans. I had a biscuit bowl that the waitress had a hard time understanding I didn't want meat in. "So, do you not want the home fries in it either?" What?

After breakfast, I picked up Ryan and went to the Landis course for disc golf spring training. It was still a little chilly out but it was good to play again.

We weren't nearly as bad as I thought we'd be. It was a bit windy so that was a factor as well. I ended up doing just a few over par for the course. This picture was not set up either, the Epic dug into the ground just like that.

We went over to South Vineland where the other course was even worse than before. The pond is really growing out of control.

Hole one is almost completely encompassed by water No way to play it until it's warm enough for a bathing suit! Overall, five holes were unplayable because of the water. Some have dried out and seem like they will be back to normal after a while but as for this one and hole 13, I think they might be submerged for a long time.

After a couple games of a disc golf, we didn't want to waste the weather by calling it a day so we went for some tennis at the Magnolia courts. We weren't really that bad at tennis either. I'm surprised. It was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to being able to play frequently again.

I went home for a while and then to Dave's later for his birthday party. They were already into when I got there and they were doing shots each time this one song came on. They were sweet shots so they weren't bad.

They were playing beer pong in the back but it was cold out so I stayed inside with Jimmy for most of the time. We hung around talking, doing a shot every now and then. It was good to see some people I hadn't seen since last time I was at Dave's.

After a while I got really tired and was ready to come home so I left and pretty much fell asleep as soon as I got back.

I decided to go check out Landis Park since it has been a long time. It was a nice change. The South Vineland course was too flooded to enjoy anyway so an open, flat course worked out well. I played alright and talked to the one other person playing about the wind and cold.

I had some food at my grandmom's house and hung out there for a while with my sister and Aiden. I went to my dad's for a short time after that and took a walk with the dog. I came home and got ready to head to Atlantic City with Shannon. The Quarter was dressed up in Winter decorations. That was about the extent of it to be honest.

We went to Firewater's first and got some drinks and nachos. The nachos were kind of gross and, after an awkward incident with some guys that wouldn't let her try their beer, Shannon decided we should move on. We went to a sports bar upstairs where they sold two dollar 40s. It was a good enough place to hang out for a while, I don't even think I finished the one that I got. It did seem to close pretty early though so we pushed in our chairs and headed out.

It was a pretty fun night. It had been a while since I'd seen Shannon and Atlantic City. Until next time..
