I went to Kim's in the afternoon and met her and Chester do their engagement shoot. We went to the farm and took a bunch of shots around the tractors and equipment. They were coming out really nicely.

We went to the field cross the street so I could get some shots in the grass and with the barn and silo in the background. The weather was amazing and the sunset was perfect. I got some great shots that I'm really happy with and we had a really good time.

Chuck came over later so we could write. We picked up some beers for inspiration. It really works. We get funnier as we drink. Or so we think. Kate came over for a while to laugh at us.

It was a very good and productive day. I was excited to show Kim what I had gotten during the shoot.

I worked for Erika at Lakeside and Memorial during the day. It was the usual fairly easy day of band classes. Later I met Chuck to do some writing for the show before we did Quizzo. And we won! Free food!

After the quiz we went to the oar house and had a few drinks while we discussed more on the show and took some notes.

One day we might do something with this.

Chuck and I went to Rowan to test out how our video/audio would work out for our planned podcast. We did a few tests and I like this setup. I think everything will work out. The audio is the only minor issue. We may need to go external. We got some good ideas of what we want to do though. I like the aesthetic.

We went to Saladworks for lunch and talked about changes for the script of the sitcom. It's completely different from the original, but there are some good things coming out of it.

I met Christy to play some ping pong at the rec center. We played a lot of games, most of which I lost. It was hot in there so we went to get McDonald's smoothies.

We wanted to find pool tables but Prof's was closed so we went to the bar in the bowling alley. There were some weird people in there including the bartender, who gave me strange looks when I asked for change for the pool table. We played a couple of games and I made up for losing at ping pong.

We went over to Quizzo and got some food and drinks. We seemed to do alright for most rounds, but I think we ended up tying for sixth or something like that. I'm not sure if Matt is disappointed in our score or just about everyone trying to figure out the bill.

I came home after the game and fell asleep to Scrubs. Chuck getting into it made me want to start watching again.

We spent most of class talking about the current art market and the extravagant prices that contemporary art is being sold for at auction. We also got our first draft papers back. If I knew Hottle was going to go through it so thoroughly I would have done more proofreading. It's just a first draft so it doesn't count against me but I also didn't think he would be concerned with such detail on this draft.

I got a parfait for lunch with Brian and then had a meeting with Keith where we decided which photos to enter into a gallery competition in Philly. I edited my images and uploaded them to the site for consideration. We did our class evaluations for Web Design (yep, it's that time already again) and then went into the thing I complained most about on the form: a long, long critique that took up the whole class.

I got a new headlight and brake light for my car since they were both out at the same time. The brake was easy to fix, but the headlight was conveniently blocked by the battery. I had to drive home with one light out and get Chopper to help me out with it. I think they make it that way so you have to take it and pay someone to do it. Lucky I know someone.

I met Katie at Larry's to work on designs and exchange some ideas. We had green tea smoothies which are really just sugar and ice but they're pretty good. We got some things done and departed.

Chuck and I convened at Applebee's to talk over the pilot script of Don & Chuck. We got chips and dips while we discussed. We didn't actually rewrite anything at this point but we came up with some overall changes and some minor tweaks to the story.

I came home and read for a while, watched some things until a late hour and then went to bed.

Aug 24, 2009

I started the day out a little later than I originally thought, but still early at 9am. I did my usual routine at physical therapy. It's my last week but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do after it's done.

I went for a bike ride through Vineland. It wasn't too long, about twenty miles. I came home and got something to eat before going out again.

I met Ryan for a game. We were both doing really well at the beginning but ended up making some bad shots. We still both ended up with good scores in the end.

I went to the Ben with Chuck to work on our script for the third episode. We're easily distracted and there was a potential murder/guy-getting-keys-from-drunk-girl situation going on right near us. We did get some things written and I like the direction we're going with it now, it finally feels like a complete idea.

Ryan came over when I got home and we finished playing DK2. I stayed up for a while watching Psych before finally deciding to get to sleep.

I really didn't do anything today. I spent most of the time inside watching 30 Rock and sleeping on and off. I stayed up too late last night and I just couldn't not feel tired. I went to Hangar 84 with Chuck to meet a guy about our web sitcom (who we never actually met) and ended up watching This Time Next Year from California. They were really good. I need to get their music.

I returned to my house for more of the same after the show...

I "worked" at Lakeside for Child Study Team meetings but really all I did was sit in a little room and read my book and take really long breaks to watch tv and have lunch with Chuck.

Ryan and I played a game after I got done work early, even though I never really started work.

I met Chuck and Jordan at the theater to see The Hangover and it was hilarious! I want to see it again. Zack Galifianakis is so great, I'm glad he's doing more movies. "Pants?! At a time like this!"

I came home and did some more cleaning to prepare for the room change and move-in, etc. and then I met Chuck at Applebee's to work on finishing our pilot script.

It was a fairly productive night, almost done with a script.

I worked this morning as a math teacher at Senior High. I was tired and the day went by really slowly. My break period was first block so that made the last part of the day even longer. It eventually ended though.

Ryan and I played a round of disc golf after school in the beautiful weather. We didn't do so hot, partly because of the windy conditions.

I came home for a bit before dropping my car off to get a few things worked on and then going to Chuck's to hammer out some more of episode 3. We're getting there, slowly. After Lost, we went to Jeff's to watch Demetri and now I'm ready to go to sleep..

I thought it was nice out so I went to play disc golf in the morning. It was chilly, but I played the whole round anyway. I landed a deuce on hole 13 and ended up just one over par at the end of the game.

I went to the gym for a while after that. There were new treadmills that I like. They even have cell service on these ones...

After a shower, Chuck came over and we played some music, talking about the band and what were were doing, then we wrote some of episode three of Don & Chuck.

Jackie and I were supposed to go to the movies but she didn't feel like it so we drove around for some time and then I came back home. I just played some Risk type of game with Ryan online and I think it's finally bed time.

I was an AVID/Math teacher at Lakeside in the morning. It was the easiest day ever. Lakeside has nine 40-minutes periods that make up the day, plus a half hour lunch. I only had class for four periods and the rest off to watch House on my laptop. The only thing we did in the classes I did have was watch a video about the riots in Birmingham, AL and that was a really interesting video.

I met Nate at the course after school for a quick game.

I went to Katie's later on to work on touching up some photos to print for our portfolios, including this one, a favorite of mine.

I met Chuck at Applebee's to do some work on our show. It's been a slow start to episode three, but hopefully we'll get out of that rut soon.

Dec 11, 2008

After no sleep, we had classes. We had to hang up our final drawings that we were supposed to have been working on for a while and we did the night before.

Luckily, there were snacks and Capri Sun to keep us up.

The party continued in Expressive Drawing.

Lots of food and Capri Sun.

My drawings aren't that good but Rachel was crazy about them for some reason.

This was our group. We always hung out in the lunch room and did work (or didn't) while we were supposed to be in class. It was a fun semester at times like these.

That night, even though I was really tired, Chuck and I went to Applebee's to write some stuff for the script. Nate was back from California, he decided to move back, and he came with Jimmy to hang out with us. Even Ryan came by and we moved tables to accommodate. We didn't get much writing done, but we had a fun time anyway.

I was ready for sleeping after a long long time being awake.
