When we got up, Joanna finished packing for her trip to Boston and I came to the Student Center with her to see her off. I went back for a while to gather some things and then I got in line with Katie, Andrew, Mike and Laura for tickets to various upcoming events.
There was one person ahead of us in line two hours before tickets went on sale. By the time those two hours had passed, the line wrapped all the way around the student center and almost back to where the line began. We got our tickets for the ski trip, Alice in Wonderland and the Mystery Bus trip and then headed out.
Ryan met me at the Student Center and we headed off toward Blue Mountain. We were running late as it was and then we got on the PA Turnpike and just stopped in traffic. We were parked with the car off for somewhere between a half hour to an hour. The only entertainment was the guy in front of us getting out of the car and unwittingly mooning the traffic behind him. It was funnier than it should have been. Once it finally started moving we decided to head back since we were so late. Once we got back, five hours had passed and we hadn't done anything. Lame.
I watched some shows from earlier in the week for a while then went to Rowan After Hours for a minute during Bingo but didn't feel like playing alone so I came back to watch more and fall asleep. Even without skiing I was really tired.
What a day.. so we got up early and attempted to start off the road trip after a few delays. We got Wawa breakfast and headed out on the highway.
It started to rain about ten minutes after we left and only got worse as we got closer to Philly. The rain got heavier as did the traffic. And neither let up for at least an hour. In that time I also found out that I have to appear in court tomorrow for a ticket that isn't payable for some reason. Good thing I found out close to home.
So I turned around and headed home in the traffic and rain. It was clear when we got back of course.
The rest of the day was nothing.. a nap, a lot of shows, snacks and a game of Scrabble. We were supposed to be in Kentucky right now. Gah.
