I subbed at Lakeside for Child Study Teams and it was another very easy day. I started in a science class with this guy right in front of me. The day went by quickly and I had a nice, long break in the middle.

After work I picked up my printed photos and went to Wildflower to hang them. It seemed like too few with the size of the wall, but even printing eight was expensive. I put up a bio and some prices and hung them hopefully.

I went to Kate's after work and she showed me some things on piano. I learned a basic C scale and finger placements. She taught me one song and I think I was doing pretty well. I just need to practice.

We picked up Jordan and met Chuck and we went to the Toadfish for karaoke. I had to have a few beers before I got up with Chuck and sang a few songs. After that I was ready to keep going up.

Kate, of course, went up repeatedly and sang well. Chuck and I sang Men in Black by Will Smith and then I put in Oasis's Wonderwall for all four of us to sing!

Chuck was our driver and took us all home. Kate wasn't feeling well so I took care of her.

It was a pretty nice day out so I took my book to South Vineland Park and sat there reading for a while. It was windy and a bit chilly so after reading for an hour or so I called it quits and went back to the car to read.

Ryan and I went to the gym in the early afternoon and then headed to Parvin to run. We decided to set a time instead of a distance so we ran for one hour. I ran 6.6 miles according to my GPS. I was happy with that pace and quite surprised to be honest. Maybe I'll think about doing the full marathon.

After some lazing about at home it was decided that we'd go to the Toad Fish Bar for karaoke. When we got there I was very hungry so I got some pickle chips and quesadillas. The quesadillas were good but the pickle chips were not great. We listened to Kate and her mom do some karaoke as well as other talented singers.

Chuck won a bet with Kate so he got to pick her song: Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley. This photo accurately depicts what was going on. Chuck thought it was hilarious as Kate stumbled through the song. I will say she did a wonderful job considering she didn't know it.

Chuck and I did some songs after a few drinks. We did Dumpweed by blink-182, Hit or Miss by NFG, and A Little Help From my Friends by the Beatles that Kate chose for us. We ended the night singing Fat Lip by Sum 41 and jumping around a lot.

It was a surprisingly good time doing karaoke. I guess that mean we can do it again soon! We need to practice our harmonies for next time.

I spent most of the day inside, but when I did go out to get the mail I found that I had finally received my degree from Rowan. Very exciting. I put it in its little book that they gave us on graduation day, sent a picture to my mom, and then put it down.

Later I went to the high school courts with Ryan for a few games. They just finished refinishing the whole court. It's now orange and blue, but more importantly, they replaced all the nets so it's all fresh. We had some really good games. We went for a quick run around the pond after our game and talked before leaving.

I went over to Applebee's with Chuck, Jeff, and Matt for karaoke night. We listened to some pretty bad renditions of songs followed by some really good singers. We spent most of the night talking about doing a song, then another half hour looking through the list of what they had, and then we finally got up and sang "Tearin' Up My Heart" by NSYNC. It was a lot of fun.

After we finished the song we were already planning on what we could sing next week. I came home and felt like going out for a run so I took a two mile jog around the neighborhood before coming back to watch Scrubs and go to bed.
