I spent the day editing photos and then getting some business cards printed at Staples and a few other errands. I went to the course for a run. I took a couple of laps around and then took some shots as the sun was going down.

I went to Kate's for a while and then we met Chuck and went to Hangar 84 for Where the Ocean Meets the Sky's farewell show. A few other bands played as well. They were really good. Makes me wish I saw them more before they lost some members and broke up.

After spending the morning doing some more cleaning, I went to Serafina's with my grandmom for dinner. I ordered a small vegetarian stromboli and this is what I got. That's all I could eat too. It was really good just huge.

I wanted to do something so Chuck and I went to Hangar 84 where Blake's band, Where the Ocean Meets the Sky, was playing. We couldn't get in with our wristbands because there was a different booker for this show so we hung out in the back area with the bands and drank some Sam Adams that I picked up on the way. When they went on we hung out at stage left and watched from behind the scenes. They rocked as always.

I wasn't really ready to go home but I didn't have anything else to do so I came back home and looked for something until I finally gave up and spent the rest of the night at the computer before bed.

I worked for a while at Lakeside this morning as a Math teacher. The kids were being pretty annoying but it was over soon enough.

I went to Photo class after this. We practiced putting our film on the reels so we could develop it. I had done it before in my other class but it had been a while and the reels they have here are much easier than the ones I used before.

I skipped my Digital Media class so I could work security at Hangar 84. Jackie asked me earlier in the day if I could do it so I figured I could use the extra cash. It was a pretty easy gig, I just guarded the door and checked people's wristbands.

There were some good bands too: Where the Ocean Meets the Sky, Brokencyde and some other I hadn't heard of before.

I hung out in the green room with Jackie on a break and then for a while after the show was over. We had some pasta salad, chips and spinach dip.. and of course, beer and Oreos!

It was a busy day straight through but I had a good time at the show and made some extra money. A good day as far as I'm concerned.

I made this flyer this afternoon after I spent some time hanging around relaxing. I wanted something to hand out at the show tonight so I printed a bunch out. I met the band at Jeff's to get ready for the battle.

We were supposed to play at 5:20 but they were running really late. We hung out in the parking lot and played Outburst and made paper airplanes.

We saw a few bands play, including Generro (i think that's how you spell it.) They were really good. We also came in to see Where the Ocean Meets the Sky.

We got to set up in the green room (which was purple) and wait to go on stage. It was nothing big, but it was cool to be back there.

We screwed around of course while we waited for our turn to play.

Once it was our turn to take the stage, we went out and played our four songs. For the most part, the songs sounded really good. There were a lot of people, a few people were getting into it.

We didn't stick around to see who won since we were sure it wasn't us. We played a good set though and we're looking forward to playing there again. It was a lot of fun being on a large stage and having lights and smoke.
