What exciting events transpired on this day? Well I sat inside and read a lot. Watched some Oz. Then Ryan came over and we played some Mortal Kombat and more DK. After he left, I resumed my previous activities... Oh, the excitement of being injured.

After sleeping on the floor for two hours, I had to get up and come back to town for my MRI. It took a while. They gave me music to listen to which was drowned out by the loud machine I was in. They will get back to me soon. I hope. The rest of the day I spent falling in and out of sleep on the couch at my house. My sister brought me some salad and baked ziti that she made. That was my day.

I had a doctor's appointment in the morning where the doctor told me my knee was swollen and I should stay off of it.... then he said we'd get an MRI for more info. So lame.

Later, I picked up Shannon and we went to her friend's house where we ended up watching bad MTV videos and playing drinking games. We played some beer pong without beer and some other weird game with a pong ball.

We went to the karaoke bar for a little while. It was loud and crowded with bad singers. I found refuge in the smoking area outside. I had a few beers before we decided to get some food at Wawa and head back to the house. We at our food on the balcony because it was so nice out.

After a while I went to sleep for a few hours on the floor in the upper level of the house. It wasn't comfortable at all, especially with my leg.

More reading and watching Oz today. Ryan came over and we went to Moe's for lunch then came back to play some Donkey Kong Country. The old games never lose their quality.

Chuck picked me up and we went to play Quizzo. It was just the two of us this time and we ended up coming in fourth. Not too bad, we were close.

I returned home after that and stayed here.. obviously. At least I got out for a little bit today.

I spent most of the day sitting around the house reading. I finished Killing Yourself to Live by Chuck Klosterman and started another book. That's about all I can say. It really sucks not being able to do anything, especially when it's so nice outside.

I met Jen at her house in the morning and we headed to Rahway to meet her brother and John. We took the train to New York. We got the handicapped seat since I am... and Micah's stroller takes up a lot of space.

When we got to Central Park, I limped to the stage where the Nick Jr. Summer concert was going on and found a crazy long line. After spending some time in line, we found out they weren't letting anyone else in so we had to go.

Micah wasn't happy that he wouldn't get to see Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba.

We went to a vegetarian/vegan place off of West 4th called Red Bamboo. We had buffalo wings as an appetizer and I had Chicken, potatoes and veggies for my meal. It was all really good and I couldn't even eat half of my meal. Leftovers! It was a beautiful night to walk around but since I can't walk, we went to the train station and headed home when the late train finally showed up. I got home late but it was a fun day even though the plan didn't work out exactly.

So I went to the hospital in the morning and the doctor drained some blood from my knee.. then he sent me for an x-ray because he thought it might be fractured. The worst part was the pressure when he was draining it. After a lot of waiting, the doctor said it looked like a fracture so they had to send me to another hospital for a CT.

I went to RMC for my CT and they said it wasn't a fracture. I had to wait a long time here as well. The CT tech was an idiot, she was making me stand up on my bad leg while she chatted with some guy. After several hours of waiting, they told me to make an appointment with an orthopedic doctor in the coming week.

At least I got a good amount of reading done. Now I'm just stuck keeping my leg elevated and still.
