I did security at Memorial today. It was pretty much the easiest job I could have. I just sat in different places throughout the day and read my book. I didn't have to say anything to anyone unless I was at the front desk when people came in late or to see someone at the office.
I went to Katie's later. She got me some sushi that was really good and we watched friends. After a while, we went to Jeff's to play games and watch Louis CK. He is hilarious.
Katie and I went up to Rowan to get some things sorted out with our tuition payments and such, then we headed into Philly for some food and a walk around in the cold.
I worked for Mr. Hoover at Memorial today and got to read an interesting book he had on his desk. At night, Chuck and I did some writing and got some work done on the new script.
We got up early and gathered at Jeff's before heading to IHOP and then north. We had a chance to play The Break Contest for the Bamboozle in Asbury Park and we took it! We even got nifty stage passes.
After we loaded in we hung out and watched the early bands while we had a few beers.
Then it was time to go on and rock the crowd.
Some people actually seemed into it. Overall it was pretty much the most fun I've ever had in the band. We handed out a whole mess of demos, mostly to people's moms.
We hung out for a few more bands before we packed up and headed home.
One rest stop and a forest later we were home and pretty worn out from the long day.
We woke up in the morning at Jeff's house at around ten and slowly got stuff cleaned up and headed back to our houses after sitting around the table eating and talking for a few hours. The rest of the day was just about as productive.
