I worked at Lakeside for a math class today. The students all had packets to work on, and luckily most of them just did the work without me having to constantly bug them about staying on task. Toward the end of the day I had to take a class down for an assembly about the school fundraiser and how it's so important for every student to sell stupid shit to their families so they can go on a field trip later in the year. It was a very long and terribly pointless assembly. It also affected my schedule because instead of having my last period off I had to be in the auditorium and then bring the class back to my room for dismissal. Oh well.

I went for a run around the neighborhood that evening in the nice weather. I covered 4 miles and walked a little after that. It was a great night to be out.
