We were up early in the morning and it was still raining as hard as it was the night before. We decided to forfeit our last night at the campsite and head home early. There was surprisingly little traffic anywhere along the highway. The rain cleared up by the time we got home.
I took out all my camping gear and laid it out to dry in the backyard and then stayed inside for a while doing laundry and catching up on internets. I went out to Union Lake around sunset.
I sat on the edge of the water reading On The Road and listening to Explosions in the Sky. It was nice, relaxing experience.
I got to bed early again after watching some TV.
